We are proud to introduce the New TitanUV Sterilisers which have a Photocatalytically enhanced inner lining making them up to a 30% more effective at sterilisation than a standard UV system. The lining reacts with UV light to create hydroxyl radicals which oxidise organic and inorganic matter safely, improving water clarity and reducing phenols without the need for Ozone or activated carbon. All TitanUV units are constructed from highly UV stable materials with ultra-low toxicity and, coupled with shielding provided by the lining, have a longer lifespan than traditional sterilisers. All Titan UV units have individually chambered lamps to guarantee short depth of UV penetration and optimum contact time. Fused quartz glass sleeves offer excellent UV transmittance, as well as ensuring that the lamps can reach their optimum ‘burn temperature’ (40oC) for maximum UVc production. The tried-and-tested modular design and IP67 connectors enable unbeatable performance (less than 2psi pressure drop) and easier maintenance, especially when coupled with a UV bypass. Translucent end caps allow for easy visual verification that lamps are operational.
