Pelagia to deliver complete sludge solution to major player Berge

Pelagia takes a new step forward in its focus on comprehensive sludge solutions for the aquaculture industry Through Pelagia Blue Ocean, the company has entered into an agreement to deliver a complete sludge solution to a major player in the industry. The solution covers the entire value chain from collection in the sea to dewatering, intermediate storage and logistics.
The collection takes place using Fjord Solutions’ technology, which was recently acquired 100% by Pelagia.

“Our goal since becoming part of Pelagia has been to offer a total solution that covers the entire process from collection, processing and storage – to efficient logistics and resource utilisation of sludge. This agreement is an important step towards becoming a fully integrated player in aquaculture sludge,” says Knut Antonsen, head of Pelagia Blue Ocean.

Work on the delivery is already underway, and the plant will be ready for use in the autumn of 2025. The agreement marks an important milestone in Pelagia’s commitment to offering increasingly efficient solutions to the aquaculture industry.
