The Norwegian experts on sludge treatment in aquaculture, Blue Ocean Technology AS, are growing strongly with increasing numbers of projects on land and at sea at home and abroad – and are bringing in new key personnel.

Allan Ødegård has been hired as Vice President Sales.

Allan will be responsible for the company’s sales organization. He will be a key resource in positioning Blue Ocean Technology towards the substantial – and increasing – number of planned landbased and closed- cage aquaculture facilities in Norway and internationally.

He comes from the position as Segment Leader Aquaculture at Schneider Electric, having put  this section of Schneider thoroughly on the map over the last 8 years, through a strong customer base and with solid results. Previously Allan has worked in e.g. Ocea as product manager uw-cameras and sensors.

Allan’s education is within sales and marketing and he has a long career in technical sales, with broad international experience and a substantial network.
