Imenco launches brand new aquaculture camera-series: Imenco Insight
The products are a quantum leap for the industry, according to Anders Bastholm, VP at Imenco Aquaculture:
“We are now launching a new feeding camera with the latest technology and with 4K quality, i.e. 4 times higher resolution than hd cameras that we have delivered in the past. High resolution means many pixels. The number of pixels determines the degree of detail you get and thus how good the image quality is. The higher the resolution, the more detail and the sharper the image, which the breeders will greatly appreciate – and which provides opportunities to use the camera for even more functions than before.
At the same time, we have developed a new winch to control the camera. The winch is smart, making the control of the camera is significantly simpler and it can also be automated.
The new products are supported by a brand new software, Imenco Insight. Imenco wants to be an open supplier, and we work with many players: This means that our new software can stand alone, it integrates with other systems -and it can also be used with equipment from other suppliers.
“We look forward to presenting the new product line. We have words to deliver solid systems with particularly good optics, and now we take it a step further”, says Assel Ryspayeva and Rebecca P. Hovland, who lead the development team of Imenco.
