MIT signs official service partnership with Danfoss Drives

MIT is delighted to announce its appointment as an official Danfoss Drives Service partner for the marine sector in the UK and Ireland.

The official signing of the partnership agreement took place at Aquaculture UK in Aviemore, with John Logue, Managing Director MIT, and Alan Baird, Country Manager UK and Ireland, Danfoss Drives, both signing the contract. The collaboration with the global manufacturer of AC drives sees MIT become an authorised partner in the marine sector for Danfoss DrivePro Services, offering service and aftermarket support to Danfoss customers in the UK and Irish markets with an expertly skilled engineering team.

Danfoss Drives has been serving users globally since 1968 and is an innovation leader, bringing variable speed to electric motors. “The opportunity to be an aftermarket service provider for Danfoss DrivePro Services on their VLT and VACON drives supports our strategic development as a complete electrical/hybrid driveline and mechatronics systems integrator,” said John Logue, Managing Director, MIT.

“Building such partnerships ensures that MIT can support our customer’s transition from traditional fossil-fuel-powered applications to more sustainable alternatives. With our engineering expertise, we can work with our customers to develop and support their marine applications in the years to come”.
