SmartCare®, BioMar’s supplementary aquafeed programme, will soon be available for Rainbow trout

The SmartCare® range supports aquaculture farmers in tackling the challenges faced in their daily operations. By using functional ingredients and adapted nutrition, SmartCare® enables farmers to improve the robustness, performance, and the growth of their fish.

In situations of stress or adverse external farming conditions it can be challenging for a farmer to maintain robust and high performing fish and ensure optimal yield. Supporting the fish with an adjusted diet with a higher content of selected nutrients that address a specific challenge can be a proactive approach to this.

BioMar’s SmartCare® feeds have been successfully used by salmon producers for many years. Rainbow trout farmers, who are familiar with the advantages of BioMar’s functional feeds, will soon also be able to enjoy the benefits of the BioMar SmartCare® range.

SmartCare® range for Rainbow trout is expected to be launched by Summer 2021.
