Norwegian PE plastic experts hires UK Sales Director
Duncan Ockendon has been appointed Sales Director UK at Aquaservice.
Duncan will have overall responsibility for the Aquaservice UV-range, with particular focus on the aquaculture and pool/leisure markets.
Duncan holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Applied Chemistry from the University of Hertfordshire and entered the UV industry in 2003. From the start, Duncan became involved in the aquatics sector, owing to the rapid adoption of UV treatment of swimming pool water for the control of combined chlorine and protection against chlorine-resistant pathogens, such as Cryptosporidium. For many years, he also supported Ocea/Steinsvik/Scale AQ for the sales of UV equipment into the Norwegian aquaculture market. He has strong international experience from various large corporations and comes from the position of Aquatics Sales Manager UK & Ireland at Evoqua Water Technologies.
